It's a mindboggling experience. Legit river rafting in Mumbai locality. But, it was a little disappointing as it has many hidden costs. After the rafting, you need to depend on public transportation for returning to the start point so if you plan to go by private transport keep a driver it costs 500 RS. Apart from that, you need to pay for videos and pictures separately. Other adventure activities will cost you more. Don't go for only river rafting package as all the other activities aren't performed and you pay extra money for nothing. Other than that people are helpful and overall good experience of Kundalika rafting.

It's located ahead of khopoli & Pali village. 60 kms from Lonavala. it's one of the best place I have been too till now. Many resorts are available around that place there is a small village near it. Kolad local people are with good attitude and hospitality. However the Kundalika rafting part is the main and it's a 2 hours (12 KM) rafting they allow people to swim there too when the river is not in a danger mode the guides are a lot professional skilled people but they are not locals. Local carries business like driving TumTum auto which is a bigger size auto rickshaw . June to September is the best season for River Rafting shared by locals. Please book in advance for River rafting at kolad. It is bit risky for aged people to raft in full flow river.
